Wittig ship equipment | Duisburg

As a fourth-generation family business, the Wittig company with its location in Duisburg has been well-known as a wholesaler for ship equipment since 1898.

At the beginning of 2018, to commemorate Wittig’s 120th anniversary, I was commissioned to design 5 steles individually tailored to Wittig’s company history. For this purpose, historical photographs were digitized and collector’s items such as an old cash register or a ship’s bell were photographed in the photo studio.

Using digital mixed media montages printed on brushed stainless steel, a commissioned work was created that has impressively represented the business premises since the opening of the new company building on Friday, June 22, 2018.
